- One Account per Character
There's just simply too much information per character to have multiple characters on one account. This way you don't have to worry so much about mixing up money, items, and other assets your character comes across. Your character also ages and the like as well. I don't mind how many characters you keep as long as they are all active.
- Character and Tracking Sheets
Every character must first be accepted by a staff member before they can be played. The character sheet may be long, but all of it is mandatory. If a sheet is not complete, the character does not yet exist on Aetheria.
Tracking sheets are mandatory. For those of us who aren't the greatest at coding, there is a prebuilt one to use. Their purpose is to help you and staff keep track of your character. You can also make your own sheet in the tracking area, or use ours as a base and add more to it or edit it to suit your fancy more. One per character account to keep up with the character. - Two Paragraph Rule
The rule of two paragraphs means two full paragraphs. Each paragraph must be a complete one of three to seven sentences. This is to help keep a minimum response up so new role players can continue building their skill and more experienced role players keep from losing interest since they'll have more to reply to.
- Third Person Point of View
When role playing here in Aetheria, keep to a third person point of view. You're not the one in the role play - your character is. Therefore the posts should be made in their point of view written by you. I'm all for immersing yourself, but keep it in third for the sake of keeping everyone on the same page and it obviously being your characters actions and not yours. (Don't want anyone mistaking the thieving bandit to actually be you right?)
- PG-13 AGAIN
Yes, everything still needs to be kept PG-13 as per the TOS you agreed to when you registered on the Forum. As stated before, if it is questionably PG-13, it probably isn't. This includes gore scenes and the like.
- All or nothing. Repeated.
If I forgot to be more specific and didn't include a rule, staff can still dish out a punishment if need be (or you report a member who is in the questionable area of needing a punishment). There's no real reason to have a longer rule section since we're all people, but some people need the refresher. If things need to be added, they will be, and these rules are subject to editing.
